Income Based, Below Market Rate Rental Units
The HOME Foundation owns 17 rental units, located in the Borough of State College, which we offer to income-qualified households. Leases are written on an annual basis and rents are calculated via HUD guidelines. All of our units have been renovated and have received energy-saving upgrades.

Kemmerer Road Apartments
This lovely mid-century building has nine rental units. Five units are leased at reduced rental rates and four are leased at market rate rents. Eight of the units have three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and there is a one bedroom unit with one bathroom. The larger units have washers and dryers. All units have on-site parking, updated living areas, upgraded insulation, and new HVAC mini-split units.

Logan Avenue Duplex
This fully renovated duplex is located close to schools, employment, and shopping. It has a big back yard, a full unfinished basement, updated HVAC, and appliances, and onsite parking. Each of the two units has three bedrooms. This is a bright and sunny rental home with excellent access to public transportation.

Homan Avenue Duplex
Each half of this renovated duplex has three larger bedrooms and one bathroom. This property is located on a quiet residential street, near schools and shopping. The homes share a huge backyard and nice decks on the back side of the building. Both units have onsite parking, washers & dryers, and full unfinished basements.

Old Boalsburg Road Townhomes
The newest addition to our program is the OBR Townhomes. Fully renovated in 2022, they feature eight units of income-based rental housing, available to qualified households of two to six people. Each unit has three bedrooms and one bath with Energy Star appliances, new windows, efficient HVAC systems, and onsite parking. This walkable and bikeable location makes getting to school, work, or shopping easy.
